This Withdrawal and Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions and services of DocNado (docnado.app), operated by Guido N., Johanna-Kirchner-Straße 5, 53123 Bonn, Germany. Payment processing is handled by Paddle.com as the Merchant of Record (MoR).
1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
- The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of subscription activation or transaction completion.
- To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by a clear statement (e.g., email).
- In the event of withdrawal, we will reimburse all payments without delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal declaration.

3. Subscription Refunds
DocNado offers recurring subscription plans (Pro and Premium). The following rules apply:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- After cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of the paid billing period.
- For partial billing periods, we do not offer prorated refunds unless required by applicable law.
- All billing and refund processing is handled by Paddle.com. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
4. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription through any of the following methods:
- In-App: Navigate to Profile → Subscription → Cancel Subscription in the DocNado app.
- Paddle Customer Portal: Use the link provided in your order confirmation email from Paddle.
- Email: Contact us at hermes@nekes.de and we will process your cancellation.
5. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Paddle.com is the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for DocNado subscriptions:
- Paddle.com Market Ltd, 77 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin, Ireland is the seller of record for all DocNado paid services.
- All payments are processed securely by Paddle. Your payment details are never shared with DocNado.
- Refund requests are processed by Paddle in accordance with this policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
- For billing inquiries, you may also contact Paddle support directly at help@paddle.com or via paddle.com.
6. Exceptions
The following exceptions to the refund policy apply:
- If you have fully used a service during the withdrawal period (e.g., consumed all AI scans in a subscription), the right of withdrawal may be forfeited for that service.
- The free tier of DocNado requires no payment and is therefore not subject to refunds.
- We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of documented abuse or violation of our Terms of Service.
7. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days by Paddle.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (credit card, PayPal, etc.).
- No cancellation fees are charged for processing a refund.
- You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle once the refund has been processed.
8. Your Data After Refund
Refunding or cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or data. Your documents remain stored and encrypted until you manually delete them or delete your account. After a refund, your account reverts to the free tier. You may request full account deletion at any time by contacting us at hermes@nekes.de.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated 'Last updated' date. Continued use of DocNado after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
